Thesis Statement

 Star Fallen is a short story that follows an Alien that crashes onto a beach and finds themself in need of assistance in locating a kingdom that houses their alien race. My target audience is primarily Black teens and young adults who are seeking more representation of themselves in fantasy fiction. I believe that the fantasy genre should be more diverse and should not be limited to Eurocentric medieval characters. It is my goal to create art that features a diversity of Black people who are plus-sized, queer, or disabled through a variety of forms and mediums whether it be comics, animation, or illustration.
